A happy day for Bern: YB plays at Stadion Wankdorf again thanks to CSL Behring

A few days ago, signs with the new old stadium name appeared at the stadium entrances. Furthermore, CSL Behring and BSC Young Boys (YB) employees installed yellow chairs to create the respective logo in the home sector on Monday – and as of today, it is official: the stadium that is home to YB is once again named Stadion Wankdorf.
This milestone for YB fans and happy day for Bern have their origin in the partnership between BSC YB and CSL Behring. The leading biotechnology company will be stadium partner for at least the next five years – and there is a contractual option for another five years.
Hanspeter Kienberger, President of the YB Board of Directors: “After waiting for such a long time, the wish of many YB fans has now been fulfilled and it is visible. The partnership with CSL Behring has successfully started. We have realised very quickly that we hold very similar values. Now we hope that Stadion Wankdorf will very soon again be brimming with fans and life.”
Wanja Greuel, CEO of BSC Young Boys: “The installation of the yellow chairs in the stadium to create the Wankdorf logo is a symbol of this partnership: employees volunteered to help with the installation and thus demonstrated that everybody supports this fine solution. We are looking forward to the next couple of years with CSL Behring as stadium partner. We are convinced that many more memorable events will take place here.”
