CSL Behring in Bern has made major progress on a large expansion project Protinus at its manufacturing facility.
The expansion of the facility, where the company makes medicine for people with rare and serious diseases, is valued at 300 million Swiss francs. The project will enable two new production lines to manufacture immunoglobulin products for an additional 90,000 patients a year.
