Up to six bicycles from "Thömus", which were connected to generators, were used to generate green electricity on the day of the campaign from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - before the lights lit up the Burgerspital from 6 p.m. onwards.

On 29 February, CSL Behring and partners lit up the Burgerspital Bern in the colours of Rare Disease Day. 18 teams pedalled from 9 am to 6 pm to support people with rare diseases on "Rare Disease Day". As darkness fell, the façade of the Burgerspital lit up.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their participation and support. This campaign shows our solidarity and aims to raise awareness of rare diseases.
